Saturday coffee.
Anne made the coffee hot and strong this morning. We will get a breather from the week’s freeze today as the temperature will get into the 30s.
A teacher conversation this week turned, as it will do now and then, to how little acknowledgement we get for our work. Apart from some hoppla and congratulatory emails if our dibel scores should go up a few points, administration rarely offers much in the way of positive feedback.
I pointed out that in all my years of teaching, no principal (and I have had 11, I think) has ever said a word to me
