The Joint Budget Committee, other legislators, hordes of lobbyists and others will gather at 10 a.m. this morning to hear the quarterly state revenue forecasts from Legislative Council economists and Office of State Planning and Budgeting staffers.
The news – good, bad or uncertain – will set the financial tone for the first part of the 2011 legislative session and will have important implications for both K-12 and higher education funding.
