For the already financially strapped Rim of the World Unified School District, the reduction in those area could mean a potential loss of $756,610, according to the California Department of Education and the California Department of Finance.

In the 2007-08 year, Rim's non-instructional spending was $7,566,101 representing 19.1 percent of non-instructional general fund spending.
