"ALBANY -- Education groups yesterday blasted the Paterson administration's decision to approve a $50 million state Capitol renovation at the same time schools face a freeze in state aid.
'The timing of this is really bad,' said New York State School Boards Association Executive Director Timothy Kremer.
'It sends out another one of these mixed messages to the taxpayers that says, 'Do as I say, not as I do.' '
The Post first reported yesterday that the Office of General Services in July awarded bids to begin the final, five-year phase of a massive state Capitol renovation project."
