My stalker compares 125,000 Wisconsin protesters to Tucson killer.
Kyle Olson is my stalker. He’s the right-wing sleaze ball who ordered his little gofer, Ben Velderman, to get a hold of my work emails. Olson heads up a micro-group in Michigan that targets activist union teachers and tries to smear them.
His latest blog post compares the actions of 125,000 Wisconsin citizens who demonstrated at the Capitol building in a glorious display of peaceful democracy in action to the Tucson killer.
As the rhetoric continues to escalate and vitriol is directed at Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, the left willfully ignores all the hate and incivility. Fewer than 40 days after the Tucson Tragedy, the left is once again using heated rhetoric and

Fox News’ legal analyst Peter J. Johnson attacked the Wisconsin protesters as vile, “I mean this is really vile, in my view. What is this Facebook central? They’ve covered the capitol with posters on the walls. They’re sleeping on the floors. Do you think there’s enough restrooms in the facility?”
Johnson was discussing the plan not to let all the Wisconsin protesters to sleep in the capitol building anymore when he said, “I mean this is really vile, in my view. What is this Facebook central? They’ve covered the capitol with posters on the walls. They’re sleeping on the floors. Do you think there’s enough restrooms in that facility? What’s the plan?”
After being told that the protesters believe that this is the people’s house, Johnson continued, “Oh, I understand the people’s house, but you don’t move in unless someone invites you. At some point you say well, you can have a demonstration, but don’t live here.” According to Fox’s News’ legal

Wisconsin collective bargaining crisis causes social media explosion
Sunday, February 27, 2011
But it never struck home for us like it has over the last two weeks. When Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s sneak attack on collective bargaining became exposed a couple weeks ago, it led to tens of thousands of educators, other public employees, families and concerned citizens descending on the State Capitol – and marching in their communities – to express their outrage.
But those highly visible and persistent street crowds – which have now rallied every day for nearly two weeks straight - are just the tip of the iceberg of this vast and passionate movement against the governor’s unjust and unwarranted attack on the rights of hundreds

MADISON, WI (FDL) – The Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, ordered the Capitol police to close the Capitol building at 4:00pm today, just a few hours from now. Protesters who have occupied the building for 14 days, with no arrests, have been prepared for this eventuality, and have devised a number of strategies to combat this. Tom, a graduate student who has been leading the continuous protests inside the Rotunda for several days, had a phone number written in black marker on his arm last night. When I asked him what it was, he explained it was the number of the lawyer who would help him out after he got arrested.
The Wisconsin State Journal described the potential actions today:
There were several indications late Saturday that some won’t walk out of the building when asked. Posters went up in several places announcing that three “non-violence training” sessions were scheduled for late Saturday night.
Also, organizers distributed instructions for those who choose to peacefully refuse to leave. Among the options listed was going limp and being carried out by officers.

Walker Orders Capitol Clearedby Donna Jablonski, Feb 27, 2011 |

Continuing his unprecedented power grab, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker ordered the state capitol to be cleared at 4 p.m. local time Sunday, closing the building to Wisconsinites protesting his plan to gut the right to bargain for good jobs. Now he’s violating their freedom of assembly, too. Dozens of ministers, rabbis and priests joined workers and students from across the state, risking arrest to protest the closing of the capitol to the public.
Wisconsinites from all walks of life—nurses, firefighters, snowplow drivers, police officers, students, teachers, and others—have been in the capitol building peacefully for 14 days. During that time, they set up an elaborate community called “Capitol City” to keep the capitol building clean, protesters safe and fed and, most importantly, to keep up pressure on Walker to come to the table and open up a dialogue to get Wisconsin moving forward again.
Wisconsin’s law enforcement community opposes Walker’s order to close the building as well as his effort to eliminate collective bargaining in this state.
In a prank call from a blogger posing as one of the billionaire Koch brothers last week, Walker revealed he considered sending in troublemaking infiltraters to disrupt the peaceful protests.

“Fear of Reprisal” – the Poisonous Culture in the Seattle School District under Supt. Goodloe-Johnson
“Fear of reprisal.” This is one of the reasons cited in the recently released state audit for why people within Seattle School District central office didn’t speak up about the district’s obviously shady Regional Small Business Development Program.
To those of us within or closely watching the district, we know exactly what the report is referring to.
The Seattle School District is currently infected by a pervasive, poisonous attitude in which dissent or whistle-blowing is met with retaliation, not

Things have changed in the health care reform fight since we first launched our HCASAP website...and the changes have not been for the better.
As you are no doubt aware, we Americans now find ourselves having to choose between accepting no reform or settling for very little reform.
We also haven’t forgotten that most Americans don’t have access to the health care that Senators and Representatives in Congress get...on our dime.
We are no more pleased with Democrat waffling than with GOP obstructionism. They both amount to the same end result: no meaningful health care reform. We will remember in November which Senators and Representatives stayed in the fight.
