The 2013 EdSource symposium, in partnership with the California State PTA, brings together a rich combination of education leaders, experts, advocates, and practitioners to sort through the thorny issues embedded in upcoming reforms affecting school financing, teacher quality, and measuring student and school performance.

This lively panel will examine the strengths and vulnerabilities of the Governor Brown's bold financing initiative, its aim to return funding decisions to the local level, its likelihood of survival, and the potential impact on students.
