If you heard the sound of cheering in the distance a little while ago, it was because today’s U. S. Mail included an envelope with my child’s Connecticut Mastery Test Student Report (fourth generation version.)
As a parent, one of the greatest moments is when you learn that your child isn’t stupid and my kid’s CMT report delivered that message…more or less.
Turns out the child is “Advanced” in reading and at “Goal” in Mathematics and Writing.
To tell you the truth, I’m a little disappointed in the Mathematics result because the kid scored slightly below the school average. Apparently my younger one didn’t master
