*The Washington Post offers a fascinating inside look at how the new teacher evaluation system works in D.C. public schools. Reporter Stephanie McCrummen was able to sit in on a tense conference between a teacher and the "master teacher" evaluating him. Houston ISD, as we've reported, is working on a new evaluation system that has some similarities to the D.C. one.
