Just spent a lovely morning meeting with State Representative Kelly Cassidy, who came out on a Saturday to meet a small delegation from Rogers Park Neighbors for Public Schools.  We talked at length about CPS, and we let her know about where we stand on the possible extension of the December 1 "hit list" deadline as well as the Elected, Representative School Board concept, which won by a landslide in every precinct where it wasn't blocked from the ballot.

It was a nice dialogue. I've met with a lot of legislators
