If you have been following the events at LAUSD, you know that many teachers are being targeted for dismissal for trivial and non-existent reasons. This has led to an increase in disciplinary hearings at the Office of Administrative Hearings. I have become aware of a serious problem faced by teachers who choose to challenge their dismissals: It is extremely difficult for teachers to find a panel member so they must take "pot luck" with whomever the Los Angeles County Office of Education provides.
