Do Americans Care More About War than Education?
Liz Dwyer has a good post up on American spending priorities. She argues that Americans place far too much emphasis on national defense, and way too little on education. I tend to agree. Our defense budget is out of control, and we’re in three too many wars for my taste.

In general, I think it’s a good rule of thumb whenever you come across an interesting poll result concerning the President’s reelection chances to assume that it’s something he saw at least a week ago, probably in greater detail. And, clearly, our citizens is not learning.
