Ex-D.C. schools leader must take tests blame
Isn't it ironic that former Washington, D.C., schools chancellor Michelle Rhee is now referencing "dedicated teachers" in response to the well-researched and supported article in USA TODAY that questions test results across the city ("D.C. to review cases of erasures on school tests," News, Tuesday)?

This situation occurred on her watch. Rhee is finding it difficult to take the heat when questioned. All was fine when she was being lauded as a "savior" of public education, but apparently things weren't the way she would want us to believe.
She made demonizing and attacking the teaching profession a cornerstone of her approach to reform. She instilled a climate of fear among school staff.
She refused to believe she needed to build consensus, seek community input or involvement, or in any way
