Warren: ‘No, Mitt, corporations are not people. Learn the difference.’
In her keynote address on Friday to the Netroots Nation 2012 conference in Providence, Rhode Island, Massachusetts Democratic candidate for Senate Elizabeth Warren enlarged upon her themes of economic fairness and took aim not just at the Republican she’s running against, Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), but the Republican candidate for president, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R).
“No, Mitt, corporations are not people,” she said. “People have hearts, they have kids, they get jobs, they get sick, they love, they cry, they dance, they live and they die. Learn the difference.”
