Dallas ISD trustees split on proposal allowing high-level administrators to live outside the school district

Dallas school trustees were split Thursday on a proposal to allow high-level administrators to live outside the school district.

The change, which is scheduled for vote Oct. 28, would still require the superintendent to live within the district’s boundaries. However, it would allow trustees to make a contract change to allow otherwise.
