Parents find what they need and more at Mayor's Back-to-School Fair

They called it a fair, and it seemed to start out that way.
Mascots, jugglers and horses "bigger than teenagers," as one 8-year-old put it, entertained the thousands crammed into a corner of Fair Park on Thursday morning, awaiting entrance to a warehouse full of vendor booths.
"It felt like a carnival," said Linda Garcia, who waited in line that morning with her two small boys.
