How Many Points of Misinformation Can You Find in Michelle Rhee’s Appearance on FOX News?
Make a list of the misinformation that Michelle Rhee shared with the host and listeners today on Fox & Friends this morning.
My observations? She is dismissive and does not address the valid concerns of the teachers, parents and a governor. What is her response to their stories and the statement that math is not only difficult for kids but even their parents? Her opening statement shows her total denial of the problems (of which there are many) in Common Core and taxpayers’ complaints about the educational development/delivery thrusted upon them without nary a vote by stating:
I don’t think we need to be complaining about higher standards for kids.
Her initial response drips of condescension. She wasn’t listening a whit to what several people had said about the standards or the interviewer relaying other horror stories from citizens about the standards. She clearly doesn’t care. She is defending an agenda and could care less what it is doing to teachers or children. Watch it and watch her disinterest in how it is affecting people who have to teach it and live with the children who are subjected to it.
It wasn’t a great interview for pro-Common Coreites. Today’s interview is on the heels of her disastrous interview a couple of weeks ago with Britt Baier. Michelle Rhee wants no part of Michelle Malkin in ANY debate, yet alone one on Common Core. This weeks appearance on FOX News didn’t go as well for Michelle Rhee as she had hoped as she didn’t get the puff ball questions she assumed she would.
