TEMECULA: Board surrenders charter to district

The remaining three members of Context Middle School's board voted to surrender the embattled school's charter to the Temecula school district at a short but fiery meeting Friday night.
After the 3-0 vote, which came without discussion, several parents who packed the classroom where the meeting was held called out "shame on you" to board members, two of whom were present, while the third attended the meeting via cellphone.
