PUT TEACHERS IN PRISON
We need to put teachers in prison. No, not for daring to belong to a union, we need to let our unemployed and beginning teachers get teaching jobs at our prisons. Our current prison population consists primarily of repeat offenders who after being freed usually end up back in prison because they have insufficient education and can’t get a job.
We should offer incentives for prisoners who attend classes and obtain degrees while in prison. Prisoners could have their sentences reduced depending on how many courses and degrees they get while in prison.
