Just a little fun in the previous post with Ben Velderman, the right-wing email stalker. Apparently he's going after Randi Weingarten now, too, and god only knows who else. The FOIA has an interesting history; it was signed into law by Lyndon Johnson, and over time it has been attacked by the far right, including Scalia, Rumsfeld, and Cheney.

It does cost money for a government agency to comply with FOIA requests, which just adds to the irony of Ben Velderman's filings. Anti-government, anti-tax people
