Sac City Unified gets corporate look
Nearly a year into the job, Sacramento City Unified Superintendent Jonathan Raymond's vision is becoming more apparent: He wants a more corporate-like education structure with streamlined responsibility.
As part of the reorganization, Raymond has added several high-paying positions, eliminated others and added corporate-sounding titles.
To accomplish this, Raymond is shaking up Serna Center – the district's central office – through a massive reorganization where he is asking many employees to reapply for their positions.
Raymond and his staff have kept the reorganization chart shrouded as they tinkered with it the past several months. Raymond said
