Oregon City Service Learning Academy principal Melanie Marrone says the school will adopt the grant's "transformational model," which asks districts to replace the school's current principal, implement "comprehensive instructional reform strategies," extend learning and teaching planning time, and "provide operating flexibility and sustained support."
