DUHSANTIS OK SCHOOL VOUCHER BONUS BUCKS FOR BIG SCREEN TVS, KAYAKS, DISNEY TICKETS AND MUCH, MUCH MORE

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has done it again! He's out-stupided Trump and the other Trump wannabes by approving school voucher bonus bucks for Disney tickets, kayaks, and big-screen TVs. Who needs textbooks and pencils when you can have a paddleboard, am I right?

According to a report by Step up for Students, Florida's "school choice" vouchers, which are funded by taxpayers, are being used to pay for theme park tickets to Disney World and other items such as kayaks and treadmills. Yes, you read that right - treadmills! Because nothing says "education" like running on a machine while watching TV.

The list of reimbursements has faced criticism for diverting taxpayer money away from public education to private education. But who needs public education when you can have a VIP pass to Space Mountain? The $8,000 vouchers were originally limited to low-income families and students with disabilities, but that changed in March with the passage of HB-1, which removed the income caps. Now anyone can get in on the fun!

But wait, there's more! Governor DeSantis has signed a bill to expand school vouchers even further, increasing the amount parents receive to $8,000 per student and allowing them to spend the money more freely. This means that parents can now buy big-screen TVs and paddleboards with taxpayer money. Because why learn math when you can watch Netflix on a 55-inch screen?

Critics have questioned whether it is appropriate for taxpayer dollars to be spent on such items. But let's be honest, who wouldn't want to use their hard-earned money to send their kid to Disney World? And why should teachers have all the fun buying their own classroom supplies when parents can now use their vouchers to buy treadmills and kayaks?

The purchases can be made by parents who home-school their children or send them to private schools, if any voucher money remains after paying tuition and fees. The vouchers have nearly doubled in size, to more than 425,000 students, after HB 1 became law on July 1. So get ready, Florida - it's time to hit the theme parks and paddle down the river with your taxpayer-funded kayaks!

In conclusion, Governor DeSantis has truly outdone himself with this latest move. Who needs education when you can have a VIP pass to Disney World? Let's just hope that the next generation of Floridians can paddle their way to success with their new kayaks and treadmills.
