Sometimes you just can’t beat a dead horse enough. I know Shaun already mentioned Michele McNeil and her inability to understand the depth of the Occupy the DOE event. However, Shaun was too nice.
In her latest post, Ms. McNeil wastes reader’s time, complicates the issue, and intentionally down plays the power behind the revolt. What appears to be a comprehensive look at the multiple players involved in the debate over public education is nothing more than journalistic diarrhea with a dose of misinformation.
Yes it’s a revolt. Why is that so hard for EdWeek to say (Rhetorical question since we all know that EdWeek is really the propaganda machine for the reformers)?
Someone has to write the letter!
Dear Michele,Purposely downplaying the significance of Occupy the DOE and refusing to even acknowledge United Opt Out in your long-winded waste of time surely puts you in a cheerleading uniform for the dismantling of American public schools. What is the methodology of protest being used by the activists fighting against those that pay your check? OPT OUT!
