Tonight, June 25, 2012, Bridgeport’s illegal Board of Education will be holding a “special meeting” at 7:30 p.m. at the Bridgeport Aquaculture School on 60 Stephens Road in Bridgeport.
Actually they will be trying to sneak in an earlier meeting to get everything lined up, but the “real” meeting will be occurring at 7:30 p.m.
The agenda includes three incredible items; each one of them raises series questions about just how easy it is for some people to sell out the people of Bridgeport.
The first agenda item under “New Business” is the appointment and approval of a “Financial Oversight Committee” to monitor Bridgeport’s school budget. It sounds like a good idea on paper until you hear about the people who are getting themselves appointed to this board and the conflicts of interest that some of these people will be bringing to their task.
