NEW STUDY SHOWS BREATHING ESSENTIAL FOR LIVING
Is there any occupation in the world that has more ridiculous studies done than that of the world of education? If I hear one more study about the benefits of early childhood education, I’m going to scream.
Last June, University of Minnesota researchers released a report that tracked 1,400 Chicago Public School students for 25 years. It found that children who attended a high quality early childhood program were more likely to graduate from high school, more likely to stay out of jail and less likely to abuse drugs or alcohol than students who did not attend such a program. That may be true, but what they didn’t know was that such a study is causing veteran teachers and retired ones like me to abuse alcohol! Please pass me the Jack Daniels, I can’t take any more of this!
Why are studies like the above mentioned one still being done? Can there be any human being on the face of the earth that doesn’t realize the importance of early childhood education? Even the most uncivilized and remote
