If one holds to the idea that all publicity is good publicity than Wisconsin State Senator Luther Olson must be pleased this morning.
After four weeks of intense politics at the State Capitol Olson now finds himself at the center of an energetic recall effort in his district. He is even featured in a TV ad!
Voters in Olson’s area had once known the prickly antics of Robert Welch when he was serving in the State Senate. Welch was an extreme conservative, and there is no doubt he would have embraced union bashing and voted to end collective bargaining. There was hope, however, that
