VISTA: VUSD files lawsuit against teachers union

The Vista Unified School District filed a lawsuit this against its teachers union, asking for repayment of money the district paid toward the salary of the union presidents while they were on leave from the classroom.
The lawsuit names the Vista Teachers Association as well as its parent organizations, the California Teachers Association and National Education Association. The suit asks the groups to pay back the difference between what the district paid the union president and the reimbursement it received from the union.
