"Armed gunmen abducted and killed a local school board member while he visited family in Mexico for the holidays, his brother said Thursday.
Agustin 'Bobby' Salcedo, 33, the vice president of the El Monte City School District, was found dead Thursday morning by Mexican authorities, Carlos Salcedo said.
'It's a tremendous loss,' said Carlos, himself a member of the El Monte Union High School District Board. 'I'm still in shock and I can't believe it happened.'"
