MAGA BEATS DFER AT THEIR OWN GAME: WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT

MAGA BEATS DFER AT THEIR OWN GAME: WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT

The Libertarian Billionaire Privatier Front Organization, also known as Democrats for Education Reform (DFER), is in shock over the success of MAGA in privatizing public education. They claim they should get the credit for F---ing up public education, not MAGA, who are just Johnny-come-lately to the privatization game. Now that cultural warriors are succeeding, DFER is wringing their hands and wondering what went wrong.

DFER has been pushing for privatization for years, but they never expected MAGA to be better at it than they are. They thought they had the market cornered on privatization, but MAGA has proven them wrong. Now they're left scratching their heads and wondering how they can regain their footing.

When DFER starts wringing their hands and saying "woe is me," will MAGA spread culture war vouchers? It seems like the privatizers, both Democrat and MAGA, are in a race to the bottom to see who can destroy public education the fastest.

The Democrats are divided on how to address the crisis facing public schools in the US. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona believes in protecting public schools, but some Democrats are pushing for a liberal version of public school choice as a way to regain the advantage on education. Meanwhile, Republican governors in several states have signed laws expanding private school choice options for families, and public school enrollment has dropped by 3% since the pandemic started.

It's clear that something needs to be done to address the crisis facing public schools, but the Democrats can't seem to agree on what that something should be. Labor unions and liberal education reform groups are at odds over how to approach public school choice, and it's causing a rift within the party.

So what's the solution? Maybe we should just give up on public education altogether and let the privatizers have their way. After all, if we can't agree on how to fix it, maybe it's beyond fixing. Or maybe we should just laugh at the absurdity of it all and hope that someone, somewhere, will come up with a solution that doesn't involve destroying our public schools.

Democrats tied their fate to public education long ago. They need each other more than ever. - POLITICO https://www.politico.com/news/2023/09/17/education-democrats-school-choice-cardona-biden-00116385
