Sacramento City Schools Approve $28M In Cuts

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) -- On Thursday, Superintendent Jonathan Raymond said the Sacramento City Unified School Board voted to approve a "gut-wrenching" budget to balance a $28 million deficit.More than 200 teachers, custodians, counselors and librarians will receive pink slips.The cuts also will increase class sizes to about 35 students per teacher.
