ASCD’s Whole Child Initiative Switches to a New Twitter Handle

Today ASCD's Whole Child Initiative switched its official Twitter handle to @WholeChildASCD. The 15,000+ followers of the old @WholeChildAdv do not have to take any action to continue to follow the initiative’s Twitter account, as the followers will automatically be moved to the new handle. In addition individuals trying to contact ASCD under the old account will be directed to follow the new Twitter handle: @WholeChildASCD.
Social Media is one of the most important tools ASCD's Whole Child Initiative has to communicate directly with whole child advocates and partners all around the world. Making this transition to @WholeChildASCD will better bridge the initiative and ASCD's official Twitter accounts together—making it easier for new and current followers to find the new handle and access key whole child products, programs, and services from ASCD. ASCD launched its Whole Child Initiative in 2007 and it continues to be the leading global educational organization for promoting a whole child approach to education and ensuring the success of each child.
The Initiative encourages whole child enthusiasts to follow the new handle to stay up-to-date on whole child
