The Florida GOP, a gerrymandered bunch, isn't about solving problems or making things better; it's about exercising its power to gin up its base. Florida lawmakers overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday that would ban transgender girls from participating in women's sports.
HB 1475 passed the House by a 77-40 vote.
The bill, sponsored by Rep.
