Back from Madtown
Some sights and sounds from the Madison labor rally this weekend. It was a beautiful thing, and I'll be back for the next one. Apparently the governor is trying to make a big deal that some of the protesters are from out of state, as if the Koch brothers are living in Mt. Horeb in a cottage.
I've got a lot more to say about it but I'm wiped out. The rally turned into the kind of weekend that I would like to say I remember from college. There were lots of great speeches, including an insanely funny Wisconsin nurse--- it was so cold and my hands were shaking; I couldn't operate the recorder. But the best speech
