"SACRAMENTO, CA - The White House has launched a campaign to improve math and science education in the United States and that is good news for a Sacramento school.
The School of Engineering and Sciences is part of the Sacramento City Unified School District's new approach to education. It is a small, theme-oriented working to prepare students in grades 7 through 12 for degrees in engineering and science.
Principal Belinda Kirk told News10, 'Science and engineering has to come alive in all content areas, such as English, math and science. How do you ingrain math and science in those particular courses?'"
