Reporter? Journalist? Naw, I’m just a blogger…

Sometimes I refer to myself as an “advocacy journalist” or even an “investigative reporter,” but really I’m just a “blogger.”
Don’t get me wrong. In this Internet and social networking age, blogging has become a powerful medium of communication.
That said, blogging, as a job or task or career, is still in its infancy.
One factor is that the protocol for reporters and bloggers is different when it comes to sourcing information.
I still try to identify my sources. In fact, Wait, What? readers are used to seeing sentences like, “in an article in CTNewsjunkie” or “according to an article in CTMirror.”
When possible or appropriate, I also like to include the reporter’s name , since I’m well
