Gates/NSVF in Newark

Here's the summary of a recently announced $3,000,000 grant from the Gates Foundation:
to support the planning and implementation of a data system for Newark Public School District that will support accountability and include measures for data driven instruction, teacher evaluation and growth models
The NewSchools Venture Fund is the recipient of the grant.
