FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 25
The theme for Friday is Bridge Demonstrations - "Bridge to Resolution".
Madison:
No large rally scheduled at State Capitol but constant activities inside.
AFSCME Bus Schedule
Also, buses starting at the WEA Trust Building at 45 Nob Hill Rd. at 7:30 a.m. with the last leaving downtown at 3:00 p.m.
- 10:30 AFSCME meets to walk to Capitol - meet at AFSCME tent on square at Wisconsin Ave
- SEIU Sleep Over at the Capitol - TA’s will provide dinner at 7pm and doors close at 10pm
Milwaukee:
11 a.m., Milwaukee City Hall rally
Wausau:
5 p.m. - Wausau City Council, open public meeting, City Hall, 407 Grant Street, Wausau.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the city/community about the impact of the Gov. Budget Bill on the city of Wausau. Galloway, Petrowski, and Siedel, have been invited.
La Crosse:
5-6 p.m. Clinton Street Bridge in La Crosse.
This is another joint effort of labor groups and community supporters. We will line Clinton Street on either side of the bridge as well as the one side of the bridge that has a sidewalk. There are no speakers as this event. Parking is available. Signs will be available, but you are encouraged to create and bring your own.
Whitehall:
4:30 p.m., rally around city hall.
Mauston:
4:30 p.m., rally around Juneau County Courthouse
4pm - 6pm: Bridges Rally
Steel Bridge in downtown Sturgeon Bay - parking in public lots on either side of the bridge
Spooner:
4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

March around the courthouse with members from AFSCME , sheriff’s department jailers and educators.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26
Another large rally is being planned for Madison. A program is planned for 3:00 p.m. Solidarity activities from 12:00 to 3:00. The emcee for Saturday's event is actor Bradley Whitford, a Madison native who is best known for his roles on The West Wing, 30 Sunset, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and The Good Guys.

La Crosse-Sparta buses:
CRUE will have buses leaving the Valley View Mall Park & Ride Lot in La Crosse at 10 a.m. There will also be a bus departing from Sparta, from the former Country Kitchen restaurant parking lot, on Highway 27, at 10:30 a.m. Buses will return to La Crosse/ Sparta by 8 p.m.
Hudson:
10 a.m., rally at Hudson City Hall, 505 3rd St.
St. Croix Falls:
5-7 p.m., candlelight protest, 2212 Glacier Dr., St. Croix Falls, Wal-mart parking lot and along Highway 8
Green Bay:
12:00 Noon
A counter-rally to show support for Senator Hansen, who is being targeted for recall by Tea Party people
Meet at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Taylor and Bond in Green Bay

Please bring can goods to fill the truck. All can goods will be donated to our local food pantries and the Salvation Army Backpack Program.

Rally to protect collective bargaining rights

The event follows the West Bend rally and is hosted by Random Lake United Education Association.
Meet at Ozaukee County Express Park and Ride (St. Hwy. 57 and Co. Hwy. H in Fredonia).
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28
Dodgeville:

- Notify local law enforcement of your plans and make sure you follow whatever reasonable guidelines they request. Better for law enforcement to know what we are doing and why before getting misleading calls from irate neighbors or businesses.
- Make sure you stay on public property and sidewalks.
- Do not obstruct driveways, entrances to businesses, or disrupt traffic on streets. This will guarantee police intervention.
- Have a picketline captain present at all times in charge of maintaining order and all discussions with police or anyone complaining.
- Be vocal but civil and peaceful. The opposition will use any violence to discredit us and divert attention from our message.
- If anyone is arrested, contact me on my cell (608)770-6666 and I will arrange for local legal representation.
- If local law enforcement is imposing unreasonable restrictions designed to prevent the action, politely work your way up the line of authority and if that fails call me.
