National Parental Involvement Day - Project Appleseed

Project Appleseed began National Parental Involvement Day in 1994 and Public School Volunteer Week in 1997, to provide opportunities in which parents can volunteer in their local public schools. Seven million parents and family members, in 10,000 schools and districts, are involved in this effort.
