Rainier Prep charter school is anticipating funding from the state as they continue

Rainier prep
I’m not sure where this idea is coming from, yet, but Rainier Beach Prep charter school in the Highline School District is anticipating state funding from the state of Washington to reimburse their expenses as they move forward as a charter school.
It is apparent at this time that OSPI is doing everything they can to keep charter schools open in our state and ensure their funding, see  The Mary Walker School District rescinds their request for charter schools in the Seattle Public School District and  The charter school shell game in Washington State: Money laundering at its best (or worst?) by way of OSPI, and this appears to be the proof.
To follow are board meeting minutes from a Rainier Prep charter school board meeting in October of 2015, one month after the Supreme Court decided that charter schools are unconstitutional in the state of Washington.

The LA Unified board today put itself on record as opposing a proposal that originated with the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation to expand the number of charter schools in the district in the years ahead.
By a 7-0 vote, the board made it clear that it would do what it could to discourage the effort by the Broad-affiliated group, Great Public Schools in what is already the largest charter school population of any school district in the country. The board also vowed to intensify efforts toward improving educational opportunities within traditional district schools as a way to discourage more students from moving into charters.
“We have thrown down the gauntlet to big business to be very careful with how they deal with LAUSD,” said Scott Schmerelson, whose resolution was also supported by all the district’s labor partners as well as many parents. “They will not take over JUST IN: LA Unified board passes anti-charter growth resolution - LA School Report:

On December 18, 2015, I began writing a series of posts on the Every Student Achieves Act (ESSA), the latest reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA).
I began my series using the 1,061-page ESSA conference report draft. Since that time, the 1,061-page conference draft has been reformatted and condensed into this 391-page final version.
The content of the two documents is identical; only the formatting differs.
For my first three posts of this series, I used the 1,061-page draft. My first entry covers the first 47 pages. My second entry continues by adding info from pages 47 to 90, and my third entry covers pages 90 to 105.
In this fourth post, I transition from using the 1,061-page version to the condensed, 391-page version.
I began writing this post using the longer version; so, for the first part of the post, I Schneider’s ESSA Digest, Part IV (Switching Documents) | deutsch29:

Dear Reformy Bloggers: B’Bye

I'm going to keep this short because one of my New Years resolutions is to stop engaging folks who are not serious. But I do want the following on the record before I move on:

Laura Waters is having a debate with Stephen Danley about Camden schooling. As far as I'm concerned, anything Stephen does is worth checking out, so here's Stephen's latest contribution:
First of all, there is no need to concoct a completely facetious account of what I hypothetically argue. My email is on the Rutgers website and I’m active on twitter. Why put words in my mouth then argue with a straw man? If Laura had the courtesy to actually ask me about her hospital analogy, I would have told her that communities are often fiercely protective of their hospitals, and that often the “poorer” hospital is the one serving the poorest population (the community least likely to be able to pay). In contrast to Laura’s stereotyping of me as someone only interested in “academic exercise,” I actually participated in protests in New Orleans around this very issue. After Hurricane Katrina, Charity Hospital was closed, in part because it’s business model of serving low-income residents was not considered viable in the long-term. A new research hospital was to open which focused less on this non-profitable clientele. Sound familiar? [emphasis mine]
As a matter of fact, yes. But I'm not talking about the hospital; I'm talking about Laura Waters completely mischaracterizing someone else's words.

Because this is what Waters does. She mischaracterizes the views of the dead so badly their families have to call her out on it. She omitted crucial context in her attempted takedown of a post by Matt DiCarlo about teacher quality. She tries to critique my - See more at: http://jerseyjazzman.blogspot.com/2016/01/dear-reformy-bloggers-bbye.html#sthash.31x4OM61.dpuf
