NPE wants to wish everyone a Happy 2021. As difficult as 2020 was for many, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of you. This has been a year that we will never forget. We have lost members of our organizing community and have witnessed many of them get sick from COVID. Despite the trauma and hardship, organizations in this network continue to rise up to the challenge and support their communities. Organizations have conducted food drives, protested hospital closures, set up tutoring services for children in need, held social hours online for those who feel isolated, conducted webinars to continue to educate the public about our fight for public education, wrote op-eds, and so much more. As we usher in 2021, I know that we will all continue to figure out inventive ways to help others. Again, it is an honor to work with you and for you.
