FOM: Post Secondary Ed: The CCSS Trojan
Over the past months, we anti CCSS warriors, have learned so much in fighting Common Core. We’ve learned that Common Core has a wide array of names it can be linked to (or often times, be used in place of “Common Core”). Today’s special “Fib-o-Meter” will be devoted to the the groups/efforts and evidence concerning the often overlooked avenue of post secondary education being aligned with Common Core or it’s adult version: Career and Technical Education.
The Evidence:
From my archives, I have 5 pages of evidence, complete with association names, ties to Common Core and/or Career Tech Education, funding sources for some; videos, pdf files, and so much more.

GEDs, SATs, and other such assessments is a vital piece of evidence of “Total Truth”because these are used to gauge competencies either in place of a diploma or a way to be admitted to college. Both are used by community colleges as proof of the students academic achievements. One assessment you may not know (and it another “Total Truth”is the the CASAS, or Comprehensive Adult and Student Assessment Systems. I wrote about this on 10/28/14. Bringing the U.S. Dept. of Labor into the CCSS/CTE mix is another huge “Total Truth”FOM: Post Secondary Ed: The CCSS Trojan | commoncorediva:
