Save Our Schools March And Rally Leaders Decline White House Invitation
Leaders of the National Call to Action and organizers of the Save Our Schools March have declined an invitation to meet with education officials at the White House today. Instead, they'll be available after the rally.
The executive committee of the joint effort sent this morning the following response:
"We sincerely appreciate the interest of the White House in the Save Our Schools March and National Call to Action. We’d be pleased to host any White House or Department of Education personnel on the Ellipse on Saturday so they can hear firsthand what teachers, students, parents
