“Madison School District opens schools to students’ parents as way to engage families”
Madison School District opens schools to students’ parents as way to engage families is a nice article about what schools in Madison, Wisconsin are doing to promote family engagement. Which leads me to put this in
“Nonprofit and for-profit partners help Cincinnati transform its failing schools”
Nonprofit and for-profit partners help Cincinnati transform its failing schools is from Ed Source, and provides an excellent overview of the efforts to create community schools in that city. As usual, though, I wish “parents” would have also been in the mix. I’m still adding it to The Best Resources For Learning About Community Schools.
“Family Engagement Is Much More Than Volunteering at School”
I’ve previously posted about the recent National Family Engagement Conference. Ed Central has just published another nice report about it, Family Engagement Is Much More Than Volunteering at School. It’s worth checking-out.
