Zorn on Persepolis shows what’s wrong with Chicago big media school reporting. UPDATED: Zorn responds. | Fred Klonsky:

Zorn on Persepolis shows what’s wrong with Chicago big media school reporting.

My brother Mike tells the truth about the Chicago coverage of the CPS Persepolis fiasco.
“Funny. It seems the Klonsky brothers are the best news source in town on this one.”
And the Chicago Tribune’s Eric Zorn fully demonstrates the point.
He demonstrates why the Sun-Times and his Tribune suck when it comes to education coverage.
Writing on his Tribune blog about the Persepolis story Zorn admits, “My daughter is a student and (sic) Lane and mentioned this to me last night, though both of us thought it sounded like a rumor gone wild. Guess not.”
Check it out. One of the star columnists for the Chicago Tribune has a daughter at Lane Tech who comes home and tells him about the story of the book banning at Lane Tech, and he calls…nobody.
