A LESSON IN STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT FOR THE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS

Education is a complex issue and reform efforts made in the name of standards were not born out of learning theory. They have not come from the minds of great practitioners. Rather, they were born of governors who have different constructs in the field of education. Before passing any more damaging legislation like No Child Left Behind, which I now call No Shareholder Left Behind (and like HR 2218 will be) please partake in the following lesson.
