Don't Count Them Out
I'm sensing some civil disobedience coming on.
When poor people organize themselves, raise money, make plans, and decide what's best for the kids at their neighborhood school, they get stepped on. When the same thing happens in Lakeview, combined with the exit of the kids-in-poverty, it's some kind of miraculous expression of how fabulous community involvement is.
