Do you think Cathie Black will succeed at running New York's schools?

City Schools Chancellor-to-be Cathie Black defended herself Friday against critics who say she can't relate to public school parents.

"I've had a successful career. It didn't land in my lap like a gift from God," she added. "Do I live well yes? But am I an empathetic person? Absolutely yes."
