Patrick Kennedy will step down Friday as trustee and president of the Sacramento City Unified School District board as he awaits his new post on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
Gabe Ross, spokesman for the school district, said First Vice President Darrel Woo is in line to take Kennedy’s place as school board president for the balance of this year.
