Lincoln Unified has added two days to this year's instructional calendar, a move made possible by last week's victory of Gov. Jerry Brown's Proposition 30 education tax initiative.

Lodi Unified parents, students propose PE waiver program

Lodi Unified is the only large school district in San Joaquin County that does not allow student athletes to waive a second year, or 10 credits, of PE if they have extensive participation in athletics.

The latest round of ballots counted by the Registrar of Voters show a bond proposition in the San Dieguito Union High School District close to passing, while other bond measures in Del Mar and MiraCosta Community College District were mostly unchanged.
