Popout
In the fear laden environment that permeated the well-orchestrated gathering, some of these teachers anonymously read eloquent statements about the unjust manner in which they have been treated, while clearly indicating the continuing damage that they have been allowed to sustain from LAUSD and their union United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), some of whose officers did not miss this photo opportunity to show physical solidarity with teachers, even though they have turned a blind eye to them over the last 3 months.
There is no question that LAUSD is well within its rights to fully investigate the situation that was allowed to occur at Miramonte for years.
